What is a doula and newborn care specialist?
A doula provides evidence based information such as infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, mother-baby bonding, infant soothing and basic newborn care.
A doula can be a shoulder to lean on from the comfort of your own home. She is there to mother the mother and to help you transition into your new mom role with confidence.
A newborn care specialist is someone professionally trained in newborn care. We assist parents from the first months through the first year of the babies life with parent education, breastfeeding, and basic baby care. We can assist with overnight care and more.
